Abstract Peer-review Process/Guidelines

PRISM, along with the organizing committee members of IBC2024, is committed to upholding a stringent, top-tier, and impartial peer-review procedure for every abstract submitted to the conference. The evaluation of abstract acceptance will be conducted by a panel of seasoned reviewers, session chairs, and/or the conference chairman, with a focus on the originality and significant contributions of the findings and/or conclusions to the field. The committee will assess whether the abstract is best suited for oral or poster presentation. Determination of eligibility for either presentation format will be based on the overall score, with adjustments made to account for potential variations in scoring among referees. Throughout the process, the committee employs a single/double-blind peer review mechanism, ensuring anonymity for both the reviewer and the author.
